Patrick Kelley | Senior Pastor
Growing up in Grapevine, Texas, Patrick’s family never went to church together, and as a result, he didn’t follow Christ until later in life. He was a rebellious teenager, and it wasn’t until he heard the Beatles song, “Nowhere Man” and developed a relationship with his Young Life leader that he believed Jesus wanted a relationship with Him. After receiving a business degree from North Texas State University, Patrick married his high school sweetheart Lisa. Believing that they were being led into full-time ministry, he then completed his master's degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary while working at a local church. In October of 1996, Patrick and Lisa moved to Fort Bend County with their four children to start River Pointe Church with the mission of reaching people far from God with the hope of Christ.
